Today's the official day, but I've definitely been feeling the change in the air in the morning for a week or so now. Normally I'm not particularly a huge "Fall" fan, but for some reason this year I really like the change.
This past weekend I went applepicking with a group of friends and it was so much fun! We picked cortland, macintosh, and gala apples, and then I made an apple pie on Sunday. Later this evening I'll try and remember to post images of apple picking and pie results. The pie reminded me of home because I borrowed my Dad's recipe to make it. It tasted so good!
Change must be the theme of my life right now. I've felt very content with life these past few days. While some things are settling, others are still on the horizon. Soon I'll be moving into a new house with a new roommate. I'm both excited and nervous!
Signing off for now with 2 quotes:
"Every person is a new door to a different world."- from movie "Six Degrees of Seperation"
"Friendship with oneself is all-important because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world." - Eleanor Roosevelt
